one billion items, particularly all the wearables and all the loot, PLUS the feeling that a massive item pool creates when you're in another user's shop and just clicking things you've never seen before in complete wonder. (model this by having loot items to find in the cellars which an unused party member can later take into town and trade for random usable equipment!)
furthermore, there must be items which commemorate characters, even when it doesn't make sense, as the game makes comment on itself, just as the Dworlems chronicle the descent into complete insensibility they are intentionally causing. (shumnki doll, shumnki plushie, shumnki collectible coins and cards and cookies and such...)
